From 2 November, ERGT will achieve the full integration of its offshore and maritime training services by commencing delivery of lifeboat training from Rous Head in Fremantle.

The lifeboat training facility at Rous Head has been a critical asset for industry and it will complement the already extensive safety training infrastructure at our custom-built training centre in Perth, Jandakot.

ERGT has a long history of providing industry-leading training to the Australian oil and gas sector. In Australia’s eastern states, we have provided lifeboat training for more than 10 years and have pioneered the use of training simulators. The addition of training capabilities at Rous Head will now allow oil and gas operators in Western Australia to access their full suite of safety training needs via a single local operator.

ERGT has always operated with the highest possible focus on safety. In the current environment, where national concerns regarding COVID-19 remain, we have implemented even more stringent health and hygiene measures to ensure the safest possible training environment for all participants.

The decision to take on the Rous Head training facility allows ERGT to further deliver on our goal of providing an integrated training offering for the oil and gas, offshore and maritime industries.
