ERGT Supports Northern Territory Industry Skills Boost

ERGT is excited to be supporting the NT Manufacturers Councils upskill boost facilitated by the Department of Trade Business and Innovation – Workforce NT.

The proactive project supports local businesses in upskilling their workforce to be ready for upcoming offshore oil and gas projects in the Northern Territory.

Joining forces are five organisations; The Workforce NT Industry Buildskills Program who are providing funding support, and the Manufacturers Council, Site Skills, ERGT and equipment hire company Winnellie Hydraulics who are all overseeing the execution of the training.

ERGT Australia will be taking 22 employees from eight member business through the OPITO Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) course. This course will ensure that the participants are eligible and prepared to work offshore.
