ERGT Australia is a leading commercial registered training organisation providing incident response and applied safety skills training to high risk industries. ERGT provides a professional, engaging and safe training service to develop skills that address safety-critical industry needs. If you have what it takes and are passionate about training, then we have the opportunity for you to come on board and join our team as a Trainer.

We are currently seeking Emergency Response Trainers and Safety Skill Trainers to join our team at our Jandakot Training Centre.

As an Emergency Response Trainer courses that you will run include: Breathing apparatus, external and internal firefighting, leading emergency teams, responding to hazardous materials, vertical rescue and road crash rescue.

As a Safety Skill Trainer courses that you will run include: Heights safety, confined space, gas testing and permit to work training.

As a Trainer at ERGT your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage all trainees and staff allocated to scheduled courses
  • Ensure all training is delivered and assessed accordingly to the Nationally Recognised Training Procedures
  • Co-operate with ERGT management to promote and consistently deliver high quality products and services and meet quality objectives
  • Review of training packages and course delivery
  • Assist and support other team members as required

To be considered for either role you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Certificate IV in TAE 
  • Motivated towards professional development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team, work autonomously and follow procedures

Highly Advantageous:

  • Experienced in Fire Fighting / Maritime
  • Industry experience – Oil & Gas / Marine / Mining / Industrial / Defence / Medic
  • Open Water SCUBA Diver or equivalent
  • Provide First Aid certificate
