Finance & Payroll Coordinator

This exciting newly created position will play a key part  in contributing to the Finance Team’s success. As Finance & Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for the full payroll function and also have dedicated finance tasks including responsibilities for month-end processing, reconciliations and reporting. The role is based at our Training Centre in Jandakot.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • National fortnightly end to end payroll processing
  • Management of payroll related compliance including PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax (Multiple States) & Workers Compensation Insurance
  • Calculation and processing month end leave entitlements and payroll accruals
  • Maintenance and set up within the payroll and timesheet systems
  • Month end payroll reporting, reconciliations, and journals for all payroll related accounts
  • Assisting Finance Manager with dedicated finance tasks
  • Assisting with general ledger processing and month reconciliations to trial balance
  • Completing other daily and monthly finance tasks, reconciliations and reporting as required

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Significant payroll experience
  • Extensive exposure to ADP Payforce
  • Considerable book-keeping experience
  • A relevant book-keeping qualification
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be adaptable in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service focus
  • Advanced Excel


  • System implementation experience
  • Multiple state payroll knowledge
  • Microsoft Office 365
