FAQS

What are the different courses available for maritime training?

ERGT offer a wide range of maritime courses including Sea Survival, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, First Aid, Fast Rescue Craft, and operation of Survival craft to name a few. Our centres across Australia address the STCW AMSA requirements with nationally accredited courses on offer.

Our STCW courses are approved by AMSA and target seafarers working on board vessels in Australian and international waters who are required to hold and maintain certain certificates under the relevant STCW standard. Initial maritime courses and refresher courses are available.

How long are maritime training courses?

ERGT’s suite of Australian maritime courses varies between 1 and 7 days depending on the skill set needed. Our extensive facilities allow some courses to be conducted in one day rather than changing locations requiring a second day, and therefore saving trainees time needed to complete their safety training.

Where can I complete maritime courses?

The Certificate of Safety Training (CoST) and the relevant refresher courses are  available in Perth, Melbourne and  Darwin maritime training centres. Maritime Courses that cover the operation and search and rescue with lifeboats and fast rescue crafts are available at our Perth training facility only.

How to book ERGT's maritime courses?
