The Incident Management Training Centre (located at Perth Safety Training Centre) is designed to develop Incident Commanders and their support teams for the effective management of major incidents and emergencies. Stretching over 3ha in Perth’s southern suburbs, ERGT Australia’s flagship Safety Training Centre incorporates both an immersive simulated high-risk workplace, and a specialised Incident Management Training Centre.

The safety training facility includes 25 classrooms, a three-storey production platform, raised helideck complete with Sikorsky S-76A helicopter, sea survival pool for HUET training and state-of-the-art fire ground. It is the biggest centre of its type in the nation and supports industry’s drive for a major shift in the quality of observable training outcomes by immersing trainees in realistic workplace-aligned surroundings.

This waterfront annexe is well equipped to deliver maritime safety courses. The facility includes one classroom to deliver theory sessions and a lifeboat launch platform with freefall davit, swing arm davit and twin arm davit launch mechanism.

Located in North Fremantle, its 5.3 km from Fremantle station that connects to the Perth CBD and 22.5 km from our Jandakot training centre. We have a courtesy bus service connecting both the facilities for trainees in case the training course is designed to deliver part of the training from Jandakot.
