Course Overview
The OPITO Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) 5850 is a refresher course for offshore oil and gas workers who already hold valid BOSIET, FOET, TBOSIET or TFOET certification. This training reinforces critical emergency response skills, including helicopter evacuation, sea survival, firefighting, and first aid, while ensuring safe use of CA-EBS equipment in both warm and cold water environments.
ERGT’s OPITO Further Offshore Emergency Training with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System 5850 (FOET CA-EBS 5850) is designed for experienced offshore personnel who need to maintain a current OPITO certification for safe offshore operations. This one-day refresher program consolidates and updates vital safety and survival skills, including helicopter safety and ditching procedures, sea survival, firefighting, and emergency first aid.
Delivered at ERGT’s specialised safety training centres, the FOET CA-EBS 5850 course combines targeted classroom learning with realistic, hands-on emergency simulations. Learners gain practical experience using CA-EBS equipment, building confidence to respond effectively in a range of offshore emergency situations.
