Bringing a giant whale shark to life on screen is no small feat

We're proud that ERGT could play a small supporting role in that journey.

Our purpose-built sea survival training pool became the location for filming the underwater whale shark sequences, providing the controlled environment the production team needed to safely capture these technically complex scenes.

While our facilities are normally dedicated to preparing people for emergencies at sea, we're always excited when opportunities arise to support other Western Australian industries. Projects like this demonstrate what's possible when organisations share resources, collaborate and back local talent.

Whale Shark Jack is now streaming on Stan.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this uniquely Western Australian story to life, and thank you for giving ERGT the opportunity to play a small part.
