Course Overview
ERGT Australia’s OPITO approved Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) provides the learners with the fundamental knowledge and skills to use CA-EBS safely when travelling offshore by helicopter.
The OPITO Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Initial Deployment Training (5902) course at ERGT Australia is a 2-hour, dry, classroom-based program that prepares personnel travelling offshore by helicopter to understand and safely use a CA-EBS in an emergency. This essential training builds learners confidence and awareness, ensuring learners can respond effectively to emergency situations during helicopter transit.
This course is regulated by OPITO, and on successful completion, learners will receive an OPITO-approved CA-EBS Initial Deployment Training (5902) certificate, which does not have an expiry date.
Learners must hold a valid BOSIET, FOET, HUET, T-BOSIET, T-FOET, T-HUET (or industry-agreed equivalent) certificate prior to attending this course.
