The Respond to Local Emergencies and Incidents course at ERGT Australia is a 3-day course designed to equip learners with the practical skills and knowledge needed to respond quickly and safely to emergencies and incidents on site. Ideal for workers in high-risk industries, this course develops the ability to assess hazards, implement effective response procedures, and support workplace safety systems, helping to protect people and minimise damage during critical situations.
This course is aligned to the nationally recongnised units of competency RIIERR301E Respond to Work Site Incidents and RIIERR302E Respond to Local Emergencies and Incidents. Learners gain hands-on experience in emergency response techniques, hazard assessment, and incident management. There are no formal prerequisites, but participants must be physically capable of performing emergency response activities.
